Where 6 is had a decent game:

Bentley - 6 - Not that much to do, but competent throughout.

Simpson/Rowe - 6 - Both put in good defensive performances, neither offered much going forward as expected. Simpson sadly looked to have done his hamstring though.

Vyner - 5 - OK defensively, pretty poor distribution as per normal.

Kallas - 7 - Got some of his trademark blocks in, looked solid.

Lansbury - 7 - Easily best (albeit not much to beat) performance for us, unlucky with FK that hit the post.

Massengo - 9 - Here, there and everywhere real duracell bunny performance but with composed passing too.

Palmer - 5- No lack of effort, but didn't really get into the game. None of his through ball attempts came off.

Pearson - 6 - Promising, good touch and control, understandably tired in 2nd half.

Semenyo - 7 - Looked dangerous with his runs, should have won a pen but for poor ref.

Wells - 4- Frustratingly poor, even in his favoured position.

 

None of the subs on long enough to rate, although Conway looked sharp and eager which is what we need.

Agree with most of that except I thought Palmer worth a 6 and a 4 for Wells is a bit harsh.

Would give Massengo 9 & Lansbury 7, agree with the rest.

Pretty much agree with all of the above except I would be one who gave Lansbury a 6.

Yes he was busy defensively but his passing is still wayward with a lot of optimistic balls pinged about with little accuracy.

Dont sure if Simpson is to prefer as rb. Hunt is better in offensive and can create.

Hunt can create but is not that good defensively especially if up against a quick or tricky opponent. 

Also his forward passes from the back lose us possession 4 times out of 5.

Whether Simpson or someone else we need an upgrade on Hunt.

Bentley - 6 - Not much to do, but didn't inspire confidence when claiming on crosses, some odd decisions to punch. 

Simpson - 7 - Solid, everything Hunt hasn't been this season, good anticipation. 

Vyner - 6 - Solid for the most part, but a fair few horrendous clearances where it just needed a foot putting through it. 

Kalas - 7 - Solid and commanding performance. 

Rowe - 6 - Couple of lazy passes, good support on his side from HNM in dealing with Knockaert and Christie. 

Lansbury - 7 - Quietly confident performance, not enough for an extension perhaps, but some nice composed moments, needs to try and show for the ball more from defence however. 

HNM - 8 - Incredible work rate and MotM, however his first touch let him down on a few occasions. 

Palmer - 4 - Tried, but as with Wells ghat doesn't mean much, but got increasing frustrated from the first minute and was a walking red card after the yellow which hampered his ability to press, and none his passes came off period yesterday. Christie had the beating of him on receipt of the ball all ends up. 

Semenyo - 5 - Didn't look as up for it for me compared to previous matches, however overall game in terms of link up play still needs work from deep, one dazzling run for which we perhaps could have got a pen for, if we had got it, would've got a 6.

Pearson - 5 - Should maybe be a six, but with Han being the same age I can't show favouritism. Generally quiet but obviously needs much more experience yet. A couple nice runs and tidy play.

Wells - 4 - Bit of running, but considering this is his preferred position? Poor link up play and not too many runs in behind and when he did Worrall had the reading of him every single time.
