We moan about another goal conceded from a set piece and some dreadful refereeing. We question whether Lansbury's sending off had much of an impact and discuss the performance of much coveted Owls midfielder Barry Bannon who faded as the game went on much like his team! Talk switched to who should be retained from the OOC players and the general view was that with a surfeit of midfielders amongst the in contract players and Nigel [or who ever] probably wanting to bring in one of their own, it was not a cast iron certainty that Walsh would be offered a new deal. We talked little of the departed Mark Ashton other than saying he should be at home cutting the grass and be nowhere near future plans of the club ...... but just who is going to fill that void?
