I'm done with watching so called elite clubs on TV. My subscriptions to both bt sport and now TV will end as soon as this season is over. I shall go back to the old days of watching live football only at Ashton Gate and the occasional highlights on MOTD.

Just returning to this question I posed yesterday in terms of who exactly is funding this.
Ole and a couple of others answered that JP Morgan have put the loan up, but my question is who is actually funding it.
Who is it that JP Morgan are lending this money to? There must be some other folks behind this - who will be paying JP Morgan back?? Who have they loaned this to?

I’ve just heard Richard Keys on the radio (I know!!), and he seems to suggest that those behind this will be revealed soon. He says he knows (he currently works for Bein Sports who own PSG, so I’d imagine these Qatari’s know who’s backing this).
He’s not suggesting corruption in any way, but that we’ll be surprised once we find out who is actually funding this

There are clearly some actors who are not the 12 clubs involved, but figures separate to this.

It's Wally isn't it!?

That's why he hasn't invested much in the blue few.

That's why they're not bothered about relegation.

They're the 6th richest club in England.

That fits in with the troglodytes claim that they'll be in Europe.

Wally is the mystery benefactor, and the sags are the 13th team. Unlucky for some maybe, but not them!

Mystery solved.

The link to sky sports on the last page has shocked me.

For the owners to say they don't 'care' about the mess they leave is incredibly arrogant and, I would hope the fans of those clubs really do walk away from them. Some, no doubt, will and it will turn into a circus a la WWE, as mentioned above where results are manufactured to make it 'entertaining' to certain audiences. To say they don't understand why we have promotion and relegation shows they just don't understand football or, more likely, don't want to understand it.

Like pretty much every football fan, I have no interest in watching this charade.

Even a Liverpool season card holding colleague said to me today that he will start following a fan owned club and turn his back on Liverpool F.C after 36 years without missing a home game. Good on him!

Ok folks welcome to Man Ure vs Barcelona for the 24th time this season. In goal for Utd we have Triple H De Gea up against the evergreen Undertaker Messi. Tonight's referee Rick Flair leads the players out onto the rink filled to capacity with TV crews from every corner of the globe including Hull & Yatton. Running the lines tonight are Stephanie McMahon and Andre the Giant.

Starting to like the concept.

Where Manchester (said in a really annoying Yank accent) red patriots need to win 24 nil to win the super league!

Move forward 20 commercial breaks and 89 minutes of football...

Welcome to back to the Dubai hyperdome, sponsored by Continental and every other bastard, where, amazingly, it's 23 -0 to the Patriots. More coming after this short break when we'll be back with the 16th / 16th!

NAH!

Does 'f*#K off' count as PR Tone?

Well it's close.

Meanwhile the Patriots have just won a PK following a CK and a HB. Big test for the GK to prevent another touchdown and will need a submission to make amends. Back soon after this message from our sponsors.

Can they wheel out their 93 year old specialist penalty taker, Bobby Charlton to take it, if he can walk far enough. Also, wasn't the tackle by Barcelona Badgers after they played their 'joker'?

Jokers don't count on a home run or slam dunk.

So is this super league bad for the English game? Surely getting rid of those greedy teams it opens up a better opportunity to restructure the pyramid?

Every year these clubs produce deals that are in favour of themselfs and dont care about the lower leagues, people say without those teams there wouldnt be as much interest in the premier league but im pretty sure those teams would be replaced eventually in a better financially secure league system, with everyone on a level playing field the competition will be better in my eyes.

Teams like Nottingham forest have more European trophies and history than bloody half the supposedly top 6!

If sky sports and bt are smart they can easily make a profitable system that suits everyone, id happily pay any subscription if it meant it was helping all lower league clubs.

Surely the 'deeefence' can't have 10 men in a wall for a PK and 3 GK's?

Surely deeefence you refer to is the 12 foot high electric one around the ground to keep out dem pesky fans. No oooofence intended.

As I said in a previous post I can see a lot of players not too happy with the idea but unless they request a transfer I'm not sure what they can do. Interesting few days ahead i think.

The players and management teams could go on strike.. if the strike is backed by the PFA and other associations and enough players from the 6 clubs do it then it would without doubt make the owners stand up and listen.
Obviously it would take a huge amount of balls and to stand up against your employer in any industry is difficult granted but if the players truly are with the fans on this then they should do it..

Pretty much sums up my thoughts
