Superjack
Well, that's surely it. Pearson will not get the job now. No way. Which I still think will be a massive missed opportunity. Link to comment

Eddie Hitler
We are fortunate in that this really doesn't matter. What a terrible result though. Link to comment

marmite
It has come to the point when we are happier with Rovers results than with our own,and vice versa. Link to comment

If we were playing the youngsters or seniors that will be here next season that would be fair enough, but we are not. Fammy, Lansbury, Rowe all dead wood. Link to comment
Jerseybean
Only positives for me were H-N M (again), Kalas and a worldie from TB Pretty much everyone else was at best average with several poor or very poor. NP will hopefully be given the opportunity to rebuild and clear out. Link to comment
The Coach
Just now, BigTone said: On current results I certainly hope not. And people wonder why SL hasn't made an announcement just yet. What do you do then Tone? You get a new man in, who then wants to assess the squad himself. Way I see it. Fail to give Pearson the job. Book us a slot for relegation next season. We are craving stability and a major rebuild. We have built an average league one squad over the past 3 years. Link to comment

RedM
Surely Pearson won’t want to be associated with us. What a shambles. Gutless and spineless the lot of them with very few exceptions. Schoolboy error by Palmer, beaten by a team who wanted it more. Link to comment
Magicseason
It's us that deserves to go down not Wycombe Link to comment

Performances have been dreadful, no improvement at all. However, there is the caveat that he's taken over a shitshow, but will SL be convinced that NP is the right man for the job ? I doubt it. We look worse under him than Holden. I feel football may have moved on from the days NP had success. I think he is a good manager and he did a decent job at Wycombe as recently as last season. But it really hasn't worked out so far here and sometimes, for whatever reason, a manager is not the right fit for a club. It might be he could turn it round with a transfer window and time to get the right players in but the reality is that, if this was a trial period, he has not done enough to show he is the right person. I'm not against his appointment - he has the track record and could get it right - but we'd be gambling on reputation rather than working off evidence. Link to comment
WarksRobin
If anyone at the club thinks these performances are acceptable, they’re wrong Its fortunate so many players are out of contract and we have the opportunity to rebuild this summer Link to comment

RoystonFoote'snephew
What a ridiculous defeat. We had more than enough opportunities to make the game safe. Yet once again we allow a team to score a goal from nothing (and Ikpeazu should never have been Sessegnon's man) and Palmer gives away a stupid penalty when Lansbury should never have been taken off anyway.
