Ahhhh, the cresta reference.

We had Alpine round our way.

We used to have the Alpine Man too. Always used to get really excited. Don't know why.We were never allowed to have anything.

After a day in Victoria Park round to Sid Gill's for a penny(old type) bottle of weak lemonade with a fizzy stick in it. ?

I remember Sid Gills. Met my wife in Viccy Park ( thats another story). Didnt Sid do 1d ice lollies too. Very weak, basically an ice cube on a stick. Happy days.

The Unigate man round our way would also deliver pop but I'm buggered if I can remember what brand it was. We'd have 3 bottles a week. One lemonade, one limeade and one cherryade.

Ah the memories.

Corona, surely.

Nobody gonna mention Panda Pops?

I'm not sure it was. I remember you the Corona bottle and they had 10p printed on the cap as the returns price. These bottles weren't like that. I thought they had cartoon fruits drawn on the front. I may be wrong it was 40 years ago and I can barely remember what I had for tea last night.

Ice lollies had a stronger flavour than the lemonade. As you say happy days.

Ice lollies. Ahhhhhh.

Cider lolly on its side with a squirt of Mr Whippy ice cream.

Or an Oyster filled with ice cream.
