BetterRedthanBlue
It's hard to imagine we don't have targets lined up we knows there's a rebuilding process and I reckon NP has already spoken to some of the targets.

No, I don’t think anything has been planned, the transfer window will just meander along like a thing that meanders and if players arrive then great , if not , no worries. GrahamC
I appreciate I am now falling into the same trap, but what’s the point of replying to this? Firstly the season ended less than a fortnight ago (for 4 teams it hasn’t yet) secondly Pearson has been in this football lark quite some while, so can’t imagine he’s thinking, I’ll have a couple of months off now & start looking for some players in late July, what do you mean? They have all been snapped up... FFS.

Instead of nappy wetting, why don't you wait and see. you will be within your rights to complain and moan if we don't sign players but as of now its far to early to crap the bed

I do agree its early, but with season tickets to try and sell on the back of a shambolic season where we had nearly as many hamstring injuries as home goals, it would be nice to announce 1 or 2 new signings to give people some hope. They have all been snapped up... FFS. Now, now Graham. Tbf to the OP, this is Bristol "if anyone can find a way to **** it up, we can" City we're talking about. Yes, we now have Nigel Pearson but it's still Bristol City. Nigel Pearson at Bristol City. This is critical. Nigel Pearson somewhere else - don't fret, have faith. Nigel Pearson at Bristol City - let's just wait and see. Something has to give in this relationship: either our, Bristol City’s, inability to be any good at all for any length of time at this level or higher; or Nigel Pearson's record, reputation, career and sanity. If I had to put my money on who or what will break first in this ..... Valid point. It is a massive risk to offload so many players at the same time. I also think its a risk to go without either a DOF or recruitment specialist. Given time, the risks may be eliminated but they are risks all the same.
