Brilliant news! Really excited about this one.

Just out of interest does anyone know who the other two are in this pic on the official site?

I imagine they are his agent/management team.

Is that Sean Gilhespy on the right?

Speaks very well. Looking for to seeing him in the red and white

I know nothing about him.

However, the name, the height, the look makes me think he could be a right horrible b*****d.

Just what we want. The foundations for a brilliant signing. Welcome Rob to the Reformed Bristol City.

Nigel Pearson affect was a big pull in getting this lad to sign.

Was expecting Mark Ashton to poke his head into the corner of the photo

3-5-2 With Kalas baker Atkinson out wide with Simpson and Dasilva looks very promising.

We suddenly look very flexible at the back.

That's assuming Kalas remains. I fear his Euro form may be detrimental to us.

I can't see either Simpson or Vyner as suitable right wing backs to play that system.

Speaks very well. Old head on young shoulders on first impressions and very driven. Bodes well.

Certainly impressive and composed in his first interview, appears level-headed and keen to learn.

Very happy with that, exactly what we need on the pitch and is in the right profile of player, young and upcoming.

Just a striker to bring in and the squads nearly ready to go.

Exactly.

Given, by this year's standards, Robert was signed for a more than reasonable Championship fee, yet no new kit to coincide, does anyone think we may have a striker of some repute coming in or is it pure conjecture on my part?

Think a striker will take a while to happen - part of me thinks that we need to sell to bring in who Nige wants....
