Congratulations to the Bees. They were the only team to show up on the day tbh and having finished third in the league, for two consecutive seasons, truly deserving of promotion.

131 years since they were formed and the first time they have been in the Premier League, although they were in the first division back in the day. An excellent example of achieving success based on superb recruitment and analysis, not splashing the cash.

Wonder whether commentator realises Swansea’s budget is actually one of the higher budgets

Doing my head in the "Remarkable job Cooper has done".

They've had parachute payments all the way through the last few years.

A 80k per week striker up front. Villa midfielder, chelsea centre back; and a newcastle goalie.

One if the biggest budgets in the division, and have missed out for the last two seasons.

How is that remarkable?

Lets not pretend Swansea are anything other than also a small club punching well above

They are, but having Ayew funded by parachute money on obscene wages, Hourihane no doubt on a big fee on loan etc is certainly a leg up vs Brentford’s model
