My head hurts thinking about it, and 'bizarre' as it may seem personally I'm delighted he's gone. Wonder how he will look back on his career? Nice work if you can get someone willing to pay you to do not a lot, or wasted opportunities. Yes he is still young enough to earn a living from football, but he will never get his prime playing days back. Extending his contract to delay letting him go seems futile. Could of course be a “just in case” Bentley goes late in the window and we can’t get someone in. O was surprised we took the option.
