On a side note - "Don't take me home" is a terrible song. Didn't that start at the 2016 Euros? I'm not a boxing fan so didn't realise this, but yes it does get fans from all ages singing. And yes I don't like the Don't take me home song either. Fair enough if you're Stoke and Delilah is your anthem for whatever reason, but Sweet Caroline has no relevance to England or England fans. I wish they'd drop it and exclusively play the one song, and only the one song, which simply can't be beaten, and is 100% relevant to England and England fans. Attend any sporting event or a gig and this gets belted out all the time. It’s fine but I don’t want to hear it at Ashton Gate; much prefer we stick with our own songs! Not ashamed to say I really love this song. Seems to have ever increasing depth and poignancy as further years, and decades, roll by.
