What I don’t understand about this is that after the transfer window closes the maximum number of players aged over 21 you can have in a L2 squad this season is 20 & the blue few already have 23 of them.

This means if they signed one of these codgers they would need to shift 4 players within the next week to comply, if they sign both of them they need to move on 5.

Norman Stanley Barton needs to bring in The Count from Sesame St, not any more effing players.

They are going to sell Hanlan to Manor Farm( for their reserves) so that’s one out.

The others will be given the ‘ bum’s rush ‘ and find themselves without a club a month into the new season so it’s down the job centre for those lads.

Nah gonna let his contract run down, even tho they owe monies for him and think he’d do better leaving on a free, even though he won’t sign a new deal

What have they done to deserve a pay rise...?!

Rovers fanbase in league 2 is big but not massive!

So on a scale of ‘Massive’ to ‘Tinpot’ this Cambridge United supporting young lady rates the followings of Exeter, Bradford, Swindon and Northampton at the highest level, ahead of the 15ers who are merely rated ‘Big’.

There are some bright people in Cambridge!

Thought we had a poor fitness and conditioning team last season. Doesn't sound like Rovers want Pitman fit...

Two things.

1. Pitman looks like he's put on a fair bit recently. Either that or a very bad picture.

2. That kit. It's even worse than their usual offering of the standard quarters, and that's bad!

He lloks like one of those ex-players you might come across on a Sunday league match, who's signed up for his mates team.

They usually stand out and control the game against other Sunday league players, but for a professional footballer to be in that condition is shocking..!

As said above, he's never been the most athletic and that's propable his genetic make up - but to be playing in the English football league (just) and actually look like a fat bloke down the pub, shows his level of commitment.

Frustratingly, he will still bag them goals, because he's got talent, but imagine what he could do if he made a bit of effort..!

So they have sold their star striker to a bigger club for what must seem like a big fee for a League 2 club. :)

He obviously wanted to play for the ‘original’ quarters.

Yep ... they wang on about their ‘famous, unique kit’ - even Everton FC wore blue and white quarters for a few years from 1884 - da roverzzz’ kit ain’t famous or unique or original or anything - it’s just a football kit adorned by very poor footballers who play at the lowest level in the EFL - that’s all ... ??
