Nah, that's the Muller road end isn't it plus Pat J had massive hands and wouldn't be seen dead wearing that crap, far too much taste!

There’s a roof showing there, but it doesn’t look like the Tote End and the Muller Road End never had a roof did it?

That's all very interesting; forensic accounting required.

I will also do some digging when on a proper computer this evening.

The position of minority shareholders would be compromised if the ground had been simply hoiked out as opposed to sold at fair value (not carrying value) for starters.

My wife goes all "Columbo" when these sort of things are posted,  she keeps hitting dead ends though because of Dwane Sports being in Jersey, she can't see their figures, people of ultimate authority or any investor information. In addition it's difficult to trace if they have any other interests, which might be making money. As I said yesterday, I would think the family would be very upset if he allows their old mans money to just dwindle away, so it would be interesting to know if there are other investors or income. Obviously that's why they are based there, annoying though. :)

Shame you can't go back to 1998 when company was formed. The then chairman definitely said, something along the lines of, this is a great deal for Bristol Rovers. We've bought a 50% share in £6m worth of real estate. The deal was £2m for that share, surely under valued within the books. Closely followed by the other 50% for £10k when the other party surprisingly filed for bankruptcy within five months of that deal taking place and the ink still wet.

Jesus Christ that bloke is ace.

Admittedly Hartlepool were at home on Saturday, but didn't one of their few say that they "had done well keeping them down to 1 goal"?

Well they must have worn them out judging by the stats from tonight's game.

That was based on their home form, which they neglected to mention was nearly all in non league.

Up the Sutton!

How much to add a step for the kids?

"The club is aware that the recent changes to the terracing areas have caused some issues over the first three games of the season.

We are aware that many fans, particularly younger fans, used to stand at the front of the terrace to ensure that they could see.

Possible solutions could include creating a family area within the terrace or adding an additional step at the front for children.

Assessing these and other options is likely to take some time."

And money that we don't have!

Well another great thread on Asschat, certainly can't beat this comment - Please do tell us something that we don't know ?

'Our fanbase has always been rife with pricks. Having Joey Barton in charge coupled with terrible form for 2 years has merely shown many people’s true colours, with the ability to act like children behind the safety of a computer/ phone screen.'

Oops - a few more days for Hartlepool to be holders of the Everyone Cup then…

I’m still in Hartlepool. It’s been like a Mexican carnival all week, culminating in the open top bus tour tomorrow. The locals have told me they’ve never known good times like this and how prowed they are that it’s put Hartlepool on the map.
