Home to the mighty Carlisle next Saturday. Any crowd predictions? Sub 6k with about twenty from Cumbria?

Blaming the fuel crisis, excuse incoming....

They only managed to drag their home support up to around 6800, after a confidence boosting win and in a local(ish) derby. I can see around 1000 of those disappearing next week.

The fuel crisis, internationals on the telly, something on up The Downs. It`s a pity for them the London Marathon is this weekend otherwise they could have used that.

I still find that hard to believe.

£1,200 a week is good money, of course. But I'd find it very hard to believe that's the most you can pay any player.

That's a good wage for league Two, I think the average down there is 900 quid a week

I urge every single one of our fans to watch this . It’s absolutely brilliant , especially the last couple of minutes . Don’t cut it short , comedy gold???

In amongst the comedy of the commentary mosting consisting of the words 'oh shit', have to commend the lad who put it together.

A few hours after the game to have edited that and posted it is quite the effort.

My personal highlight was the 'you bald headed....' at the end

They are just so damned unlucky. Look what’s going to impact there crowd next week⬇️⬇️. Coupled with Bristols first ever sea shanty festival…….they just can’t catch a break with competing events conspiring to tear their supporters away.

It`s clearly a conspiracy hatched by Bristol City Council, Sainsbury`s and Wycombe Wanderers and the evil genius behind it all is the tax dodger Pantsdown.

Why would Carlisle only bring around 20

When their fan have a great opportunity to visit the world famous Memorial Ground!!!

and watch their team play against the Blue and white quarters What a honour for them

How many did they bring to the Millennium Stadium for their previous cup final? Surely it should be close to that figure?

Yes, you are right.

Just looked it up and average league 2 wage is a grand a week.

Not that much of a handicap to be restricted to £1200 a week max then.

From the comments on their BBC match report. I really, really, hope this is satire because if it is it’s genius. ???

Quick return to the championship...?

Since when has 20 years been quick..?!

Especially when absolutely nowhere near achieving it..!

Gas_Harry_15's mockumentary is the funniest thing I've watched in ages and his stream of consciousness commentary a thing of genius.

My personal favourite wasn't the constant stream of, "Sh*t!" every time The Gas were defending (sic), rather: "...that was never a fu*kin penalty........I'd 'ave to look at it again as I didn't see it....."

I know the Police quite rightly are coming in for some criticism of late but credit where credit's due.

I see many Fewers are complaining that yesterday they were kettled in their own ground by the Old Bill long after the final whistle so as to allow jubilant Swindon fans an expedite exit. They complain they were forced to wait and watch for half an hour or more whilst being taunted at for yet another abject performance.

Whoever the matchday commander was, take a bow......

Exactly! How is 20 years ‘swift’?

Don’t ask the Gas though because it’s closer to THIRTY years since they were last in the second tier.

Edit: looks like someone else has already pointed that out ?
