Seeing them relegated on the final day of the season is boring. Been there, done that. Now, should they be 9 points above relegation, then get docked 10 points for going into administration... that would be fun!

Either that or as a result of a Wycombe Court case. ;)

Especially if they were still in administration at the start of the following season, as the Conference (or whatever it's called these days), don't accept clubs in admin.

On reflection, I was being mean. What I really hope for is a 10 point deduction for a match fixing/betting scandal, followed by relegation. Administration can wait until the following season.

We all thought that in 2014 :rofl2br:

By all accounts; this current team are worse, so who knows ?

We can but dream !

Rovers were only in the relegation zone for 74 minutes of the entire 2014 season. That’s all it takes.

If the moderator there doesn't think that OP libellous - accusing named club officials of complicity in match-fixing - then I don't know what he thinks the term means.

Mind you, he doesn't know the difference between libel and slander, so...

I saw that.

No need to moderate the written thread, unless it becomes slanderous....

Ummm… don’t think he has. He merely states what I assume are facts. Then asks non-leading questions. He’s been very careful not to accuse anyone of doing anything.

Very wise, as any accusation would be straight in a lawyer’s hands and highly likely end up being very expensive indeedy.  Quite clever for a Sag.

Add them all together and the implication is clear. A libel lawyer would have a field day with the implied meaning of those questions. Remember, Lord McAlpine wasn't named in a BBC programme about a prominent Conservative Party paedophile, but still won hundreds of thousands in damages from the corporation because of what the report implied.  Particularly, as only Mangan has had a charge proven against him.

Nah, relegated prior to our final game. Imagine the party we could have in Yorkshire. Prior to our winning play off campaign obviously.

I’ll bow to QC’s Red-Robbo’s superior knowledge on this matter your honour.

A different type of legal specialism than I’ve experienced… and as the say, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Would admit, I wouldn’t have made the post on Slagchat given the high risk of at least a legal threat.

My specialism was more akin to legal street fighting with no holds barred!

I do agree with you.

However after starting the season as favourites with nearly every bookie combined with most of their gormless fans (and gormless manager) confidently predicting an instant return to L1 then IF they don’t get promoted that’ll be nearly as funny.

Almost 21 years for anybody who’s interested...key of the door, look at the Gap, all grown up and ready to piss off out into the big wide World.

I did overlook the Bookies favourite for promotion and the prisoner to be (please please please) really believing his own guff talk being equally as bullish. The 21 years actually feels longer than that TBH !

We saw it with DC and BG. GC was given more money on top of the £2.65 DC had spent within the playing budget to keep us up and would have had funds in Jan too. PT was given resources but didn’t bother using it unless his name was Jayden Stockley.

So it comes as no surprise to me that Wael is backing JB for now given that we are still only 3 wins away from knocking on the door of the top 8, we have half the first team out injured, players that would be in the starting line up for sure and with a run of home fixtures to come.

Funds, rovers never had funds and never will, what money is made on player sales ends up in the pockets of people in box 1 always has always will

But the blue few are too thick to do anything about it
