I wonder how many assaults have gone un-reported. Some of his behaviour as a player would have ended in court had they not taken place on a football pitch. Of course if you can afford a top QC you are unlikely to be convicted of anything and even if it's an open and shut case, you can guarantee the most lenient sentence.
