Not quite ‘all’ behaving. Saw one large bald chap carted out after the 2nd goal

Have to say, fair play to Walsall for allowing away fans in 2 stands. We won’t even let away fans fill up the away stand due to stupid health and safety regs!

What’s your thoughts on Louis Reed. I’ve seen you a few times this season and I think he’s excellent. Is he out of contract?

Louis Reed is a cracking player and surprised he's in league 2 along with Jack Payne. I think Reed has just agreed another one year deal.

No it doesn’t, it proves that football attendances were down all over the country in the early 80s.

Stop trying to rewrite history, you sound just like a Gashead.

I have to agree with you here.  In those days there were so many games where you feared for your safety just by attending.  In 1987 we got promoted to division 2 and I remember going to the boxing day game with you at Ashton Gate and still remember the attendance being an enormous 16,058.  (Great game, where you beat us 5-2).  Anyway, that season Sunderland were streets ahead of everyone in the division - averaging 17,500.  Yours were second (12k) and ours third (9.5k).

Now look at attendances - five non league teams average over 5,000!  People like going to football again - which is why I really can't be particularly impressed at Swindon doing what literally every other provincial club would do and sell out their allocation with something riding on the game.

3-0 the pikeys

As it stands, I think they need another 4 (they've scored more than Northampton so equal GD will do).

Could be done against Scunthorpe..

Lets hope Northampton score another.

Few observations.

Wandered out to the back garden and the first thing I heard was a 'United, United' chant and I had hoped that was a sign Scunny were doing well. They aren't.

Then my mind was cast back to Colin Daniels day when all the planets aligned and the impossible happened. Out of league despite only spending 20 minutes in the relegation zone all season.

I fear the same is happening again, but they'll get a positive outcome.

That possibility occurred to me a few weeks back
