Hope you’re right about Derby, not sure Cardiff will be that high (hope not).

Place a hanky over 5th to 18th.

In fairness, Cardiff and Reading in 6th/7th were my least comfortable “punts”.

Reading are a bit highly rated given they have weakened from last season both in terms of quality and quantity.

In: None yet.

Out: Olise, Richards (Bayern, free). Baldock and Aluko no great loss, Esteves, Gibson, Semedo- were all on loan, all no longer.

Meite is out for a number of months.

Might be wrong but think some of you are being hard on Preston.........

It will be interesting to see how Rooney reacts if you are all correct with Derby.

Think Preston have done some pretty good business tbh- Iversen is also mooted to be returning on loan, they probably need another striker though but 20th, I wonder- pretty inexperienced manager though. Keeping Johnson and Browne was also a good bonus.

Might’ve gone a week early, but in for a penny, in for a pound.

I’d be happy with that. I couldn’t care less about other teams, but 13th for City would be good. Mid table would be a big improvement over last season and mid table is within touching distance of the payoffs for the next season or two.

Good shout Op; goes to prove what a lot of regular fans have thought for a few years; there is little point in playing when there is so much much obscene money in the EPL (gambling and media/bad, global cash) and this filters down through payments for failure (parachute payments) to the Championship where we all have effectively a super league where the top clubs stay in the top league to milk the rewards and (very) few clubs ever break into that Super League.

No-one will doubt Fulham, Baggies and Sheff U or Bomo being the top 3.

Where we end up is maybe as interesting as Saints and Burnley end up in the top-flight, ie if it's not bottom 3 it really, really doesnt matter

I think that will turn out to be pretty accurate......I will definitely be having a bet on Fulham as Champions, and i can also see QPR getting into the playoffs

I’ve got QPR as my dark horses. Signed some good players early and are very good at both ends of the pitch

QPR should make the play offs minimum imo.

Looking in very good shape.

Watching them play Leicester atm, they are a world apart from us in terms of quality and attacking ability. That won’t be our game this year though. I think we will just try to pull off 1-0 wins whereas qpr will be high flyers imo
