You almost feels these people should learn about our history. If that’s the same Facebook post I saw it was removed by the poster after the donut was put in his place. Certainly Mickey Mouse these days since Under 21 teams became involved. Sad really.

Super
Bristol City will pay tribute to the late Terry Cooper ahead of kick-off with Blackpool this Saturday (August 7th). Former teammates and players from his management days between 1982-88 will return to Ashton Gate to pay their respects: Gerry Sweeney, Clive Whitehead, Andy Llewellyn, Micky Tanner, Tom Ritchie and Bobby Hutchinson will be introduced to the crowd in the middle of the pitch before the players emerge from the tunnel. This will be followed by a minute’s applause. The online matchday programme will also honour Terry’s memory with a dedicated front page and feature reflecting on his career. The club is looking into how to honour Terry fittingly on a permanent basis. Terry sadly passed away on Saturday, July 31st and our thoughts remain with Terry’s family and friends at this difficult time. Timeline of events (August 7th), activity from 2.55pm: Video montage to be played on the big screens as guests announced Players run out and line-up on pitch Players wearing black armbands Minute’s applause Kick-off scheduled for 3pm
