Travel Options for Saturday - UPDATED TO INCLUDE TRAIN TIMES BETWEEN TAUNTON - WSM - BTM

I’m trying to work out how to get to the game on Saturday. Usually I would catch the train up from Weston but nobody seems to have a firm idea about what is or isn’t planned to run.

So I’ve looked at catching the bus up. But I can’t find out if the X1 stops at Ashton Bridge. I know in the past it did but just want to check if it still does or not.

Any help greatly appreciated and feel free to use the thread for travel from other areas etc…

It seems as if it does.

Thank you! I couldn’t find anything like that for looking. All I could find was a timetable with Backwell Crossroads and Bristol Bus Stn listed on it.

That is good news. Thank you again.

@GreedyHarry we travel up from Weston every home game, as we did Saturday against Villa

The train times were changed slightly this week from normal due to a shortage of crew, but there was still an adequate service as normal

Best thing is to check again later in the week when the services are confirmed

As others have said the X1 stops at Ashton Bridge now, unlike in the past when the X1 went straight down the Long Ashton bypass, this is now the only service from Weston to Bristol (no longer any 350,352 or 353).

I'll have a look at train times on Thursday and share the information on here to help

There is always the X2 but best to take plenty of provisions as it tours around Weston, Yatton, Claverham and Long Ashton.

Thanks @phantom Hadn’t realised the Temple Meads shuffle for the way home. That adds a bit more flexibility. Appreciate your time.
