Johno2144
Might of been asked before are you still able to park up around Smyth road in the estate there?

Laner
There have been road works at the top of Smyth this week - by The Clove. It's also been closed on occasions. So anyone driving this way be aware they may be even more traffic than normal. Plus some parking spaces are taken up by the ongoing work.

onehowie
Is the parking on the Cala trading estate by Babcocks still allowed (not the car park)? Think I read that cars were ticketed last week?
kiwicolin
They were thinking about residential parking zones before this all happened. Saw yellow notices around the area, so don't know if it went through.

OK as far as I know, but you will be lucky to find a space much after about 1pm (unless you have a very small car). I was thinking of taking my wife's little Kia as I can get it into tinier spaces than in my big lump of a car.

I know all the grass verges around Wickes were all cordoned off yesterday but thee were still plenty of cars parked under the metro bus bridge opposite. I park in the cricket club or the field next to it £10, a rip off but if there are a few of you to split the cost it's cheaper than the bus. Davefevs
Got to say I didn’t rush out of AG last night, hung around for 5 mins then left. Got to car in Wickes car park and got out really quickly….up to KFC roundabout and then back towards Cumberland basin. Suspect smaller crowd had a positive affect. RedLionLad
Bristol as a city doesn’t do very well when it comes to parking. ….but then why rectify the situation when there’s money to be made through ‘illegal’ parking?
