BCFCGav
Source? One of few areas we can afford to lose a player, cash in on the euros if necessary. A shame, but not a disaster.

The Coach
I think he regrets moving here in the first place. Either wants to go back to Italy or Hungary I imagine.
Clevedon Red
I would say thanks and goodbye but I’ll just say goodbye. Never set the world on fire with us sadly.
TheCulturalBomb
That's such a shame, definitely a case of more to get out of him. The talent is there but it just hasn't fallen into place.

Did he ask for a move when he came back from a very good Euro's, or did he realise he wasn't going to start games and thought sod this. I don't understand how 2 very good players in the Euro's can't get in a bang average Championship side. Nige has the right to pick whoever he wants, but you can't help but wonder.
Street red
Doesn't want to be at the club then see you later! Get a decent fee and invest in players that do!!!
cidercity1987
Damn definitely a great player in there but Bristol City and the Champ are not for him so probably for the best that he goes
nickolas
Cheerio then. Get a few quid to invest in something to improve us. Flatter to deceive would be my verdict on Nagy. Another of LJ’s powder-puff signings i’d say. He may of had a good Euro’s but we have enough CM’s to not worry about him leaving. 5

Silvio Dante
Even Nagys biggest fans couldn’t put him as first on the team sheet Tbf - he’s just not shown it since being here. When you think today Williams, Bakinson and Massengo weren’t in the side it’s an easy one to say we get rid of - he’s not so much better (or even better) than the other options we have. From a personal point of view, it is also clear that for some players Covid will have focussed minds - Adam is Hungarian, I believe his wife is Italian, so to be away from both families becomes all the harder - notwithstanding the financial rewards. Is he saleable? Yes Is he in our best team? Debatable Is he replaceable? Undoubtedly Its a sell from me and no real concerns over doing so. Edit: just tagging @Harry in here for thoughts! 4
wendyredredrobin
Excellent player when he wants to be except most of the time he doesn't want to be except when he's playing for Hungary. Hope we can get some decent money for him. Any idea what he cost us? Edited August 7, 2021 by wendyredredrobin

pl00peh91
I was watching the game today thinking that NP has a propensity to prefer bigger “harder” characters who are going to be physical and aggressive. This view was affirmed further by his decision to pick Martin over Wells. Nagy is unfortunately a more cultured, diminutive type of player. Perhaps he saw the writing on the wall and decided to bolt back to Europe where he wouldn’t feel as homesick
MATT BCFC
Decent player but just not physically strong enough to play centre midfield in the championship. Edited August 7, 2021 by MATT BCFC 1
Rossi the Robin
One of the Busy Bee’s - a good player not suited to the championship. Sell and buy a striker
Popular Post TRL
Feel sorry for the guy, joins under Johnson, covid hits, can't really get the chance to settle or do anything in his new home due to lockdown, has a child here, again no travel to see family with new child, Johnson goes Holden in, Holden out Pearson in. And a few injuries to boot. What a shit life experience for the guy. He will go with my best wishes, it looks like fate transpired against the poor bugger. I really liked him as a player. All the best Adam. 33
And Its Smith
Hopefully get £1m for him but seeing some of the fees being spent it might be a bit less.

It stands to reason that Nagy is a high earner, as are Kalas, Palmer and Wells. NP has said we need to reduce our wage bill. If buyers can be found for them, I wouldn’t be surprised to see all of them leave before the end of the month (although Palmer seems to have a future). You’d have to question in that case why NP decided to disclose this in his presser, other than to perhaps trigger a bidding war well before the transfer window shuts?
