Trying to exit the ground today the large gates at the far end of the car park were locked and only the small gate to the side was open.
This caused a large logjam of people trying to exit causing a serious safety issue both in terms of the crush that began to develop and the proximity of people close together who were unable to social distance themselves from each other.
The gate was eventually opened by a steward and a potentially more serious incident avoided.
Can you please bring this to the attention of the safety officer and confirm steps will be taken to avoid a similar incident going forward.
