Neither team “took the knee” before kickoff and instead both teams stood around the centre circle as a stand against all forms of discrimination. In the run up to the season, the club made it crystal that people were taking the knee for all social injustices, a gesture I approve of and support. The SC&T jumped on the if you booed you're racist bandwagon. I don't agree with the booing whatsoever. Neither do I agree with the poorly worded statement against those who voiced opposition.
