Not a huge amount to thank him for in reality.  Shame it didn't work out, but he never looked suited to the Championship.

Completely agree. Showed some good potential to begin and, well, that’s it.

Personally won’t miss him as there is nothing to miss.

I sure hope that when we went to oxford to sign atkinson that we pointed out that  he was earning good money there and wasnt very happy so we would be doing them a favour by taking him off their hands for nothing and paying his salary instead.  Good old city, if theres a chance to balls things up guaranteed we will do it.

No proof it’s a free but even if it is it makes sense.

No mention of “undisclosed” either ???.  Looks like City have made it as easy as possible for Nagy to move back “home” (Italy not Hungary).

Lets see whether this greases the wheels on an incoming.

The fact people are content with one of our most valuable assets leaving for nothing, proves how brainwashed we are into trusting the board and the manager.

Be interesting to hear what you think the alternative is for a player who demonstrably doesn’t want to be in England.

Wait until Barca & Real Madrid come in to fight it out for him?

I liked Adam & felt he was better than we saw, but he didn’t want to stay, NP didn’t want to keep him once that was the case & Pisa have ended up with him because it appears they were the only side interested.

If not, we’d have sold him to someone else.

A real shame. Obviously a good player, you don't get to be a regular for a decent National team like Hungary and play in Serie A; just wasn't suited to us, or us to him more like. Unfortunately I wouldn't be surprised to Kalas move to after having a good Euro's as they'll be other teams out there who will have more to offer than us at this moment.

Doesn’t really work like that though does it?  As has been pointed out numerous times already.

Letting go on a free makes sense?

He’s young and still under contract he’s also an international who’s just had an impressive Euros.

He ain’t going nowhere for nothing, whatsoever you may have heard or read!

No, it shows that "people" acknowledge it is a signing that hasn't worked, but that ultimately you can't keep an unhappy player in and around the camp.

Much better to let that unhappy player leave; even if you have to take a financial hit on it.
