Curr Avon
It was the ability to weather the Cardiff pressure at 1-1 and then score the winner that impressed me. 13 Quote Link to comment
steviestevieneville
No soft touch city anymore. Get in . Proper performance . Wiemann will get the plaudits & rightly so but Chris Martin was superb leading the line. 7 Quote Link to comment
The Original OTIB
Baker, Kalas and Vyner great today, Atkinson dragged out of position a few times but he'll get better. Very solid at the back. Quote Link to comment

Mr Popodopolous
Missed the first 10, but what I saw I enjoyed. Great result! Thought we were a bit passive in the first half despite the goal but the high pressing early in the 2nd was good to see, no bunker mode- think Huddersfield at home last year, reasonably even start but we go 2 up...then deep, so deep. Two great finishes by Weimann, nice to see Semenyo making an instant impact on return. Some promising stuff for sure. Thought Martin held it up well at times, Baker at LB? Brave call but dare say it helped, unlucky own goal. Ref didn't give us a lot but do they ever! It's often a tough away game and it is, but it's been quite good for us the last few years. Decent start to the season, 7 pts ticked off the safety target? Often 50 at this level isn't it. PS- Assist for Vyner- could he develop into the medium term solution at RB? Maybe into a bit more of an outlet... Edited August 28, 2021 by Mr Popodopolous 1 Quote Link to comment

It’s been there to see all season and this win just reinforces it. We’ve won there the last two years as well. Only joking! A lot more purpose, shape and passion. And I thought we made our own luck today too, which is a good sign. Quote Link to comment

On the plus side, more time for Williams and O'Dowda to get fit, ease back in further- and Semenyo to build his fitness up further. Overplaying Martin can have its flaws as well so that time off could be good for him. Quote Link to comment
cityexile
Played five, won 2, drew 1, lost 2. Given where we started will take that every day of the week. And every little things, gonna be all right. (be nice to win one at AG mind) 4 Quote Link to comment

AshtonRobin21
That was a special performance. You can see the unity amongst this squad. We battled all the way through and got the reward. Loved the attitude we showed the equaliser as well. Took it in our stride and went straight back at them. Up the city! 1 Quote Link to comment

Lanterne Rouge
No-one below a 7/8 out of ten today. We worked from the first minute till the 95th and thoroughly deserved it. Han-Noah just MOM for me but many, many contenders. 4 Quote Link to comment

Tangle Foot
With a little more luck, and better play, we could quite conceivably have at least 3 more points (10), but Nige and the lads are certainly heading in the right direction! COYR. Quote Link to comment
