Really nice photos just wondering if it was an enjoyable day out or were the Welsh undesirables out in force looking to ruin things

Very well policed yesterday.

Everyone escorted back to the station together. All side streets blocked off by the police to stop the vermin having a pop. They did try a couple of times but it came to nothing. Good organisation at the station with different lines for parkway and temple meads trains as well.

All in all a cracking day out.

Agree Very well policed and organised, despite the numerous local vermin trying to have a 'pop'. Only problem was local Police trying to herd everyone to Grangetown....some of us were actually parked on the side streets.

They have that on a much bigger scale when there's anything on at the Millennium Stadium, so they know what they're doing there.

Thank you for all kind comments, the next away game is QPR, are their any suggestions of what photos I could take next time, legally!

Its difficulty to keep the topic fresh when you have been their several times in the past

What is the legal position?

Is it that your not allowed to publish pictures of the game being played?

John, I'll see you behind the goal at QPR and you should take photos down the touchline - the only decent shot at Loftus. Also look to the edges of the upper stand and you may see two of our finest recent footballers; Joe Bryant and Bobby Reed supporting our team against the curent 3rd placed team, assuming Fulham havent got a game that night

I think snap as you go, un-staged, spontaneous.

Also, I think the unusual angles of a stadium can be interesting. Years ago they had an exhibition at the Art Academy at the bottom of Whiteladies Rd, it was of football grounds from around the UK and were all taken from unusual angles from down neighbouring streets or the top corner of a terrace. It was brilliant and I wish there was something like it again.

John, as I have lived in Australia for 23 years and have only seen City live in the flesh less than a dozen times during that time, it's great that I can see an away match through your lens. Before I left I'd been to over 80 league grounds watching City in all 4 divisions. Some of the clubs are no longer in the league, others have seen there stadia (like ours) change beyond recognition and many (too many) have moved to new soulless grounds. When I last visited Middlesbrough it was to Ayresome Park and the minibus got its windows put through, so times have definitely changed. I look forward to seeing away games through your eyes and while QPR may be familiar to you, it isn't to me as it's one of the few that eluded me. Keep doing what you're doing and maybe add an interesting pub along the way.
