westonred Posted August 29, 2021 Report Share Posted August 29, 2021 In previous seasons we have had a weak underbelly in the team and other teams used to bully us and we would just give up and wimp out. Under NP we seem a stronger unit willing to play dirty when needed and support each other in troubled times. it was great to see Chris Martin get in the face of two or three of Cardiffs players yesterday backed up but the rest of our squad willing to fight for each other. James, King, Martin & Weimann are regularly doing this, it is great to see, for too long we let the opposition do this & just watched on passively. Redstart Posted August 29, 2021 Report Share Posted August 29, 2021 We played smart too, tactical time wasting has never been a strength of ours, I've always felt we've been too keen to get the ball back in play when we are winning late on in games, or when under pressure.
