City would like to thank Middlesbrough for their generous recognition of the Robins food deliveries.

Our Head of Player Logistics Matt Parsons was presented with a framed, signed shirt ahead of kick-off on Saturday as a thank-you for helping to deliver food to the town’s homeless in February and on the eve of our latest fixture in TS3.

On every away trip, Parsons and members of club staff deliver food from the team hotel to shelters for the homeless and refuges in the local area of the opponent City are playing against.

Parsons said: “It was very humbling to receive this very generous gift from Middlesbrough. We just want to make a real difference in communities across the country and help in any way we can.

“We strongly support any other club which wants to get involved because there are thousands of people on the streets across the country who would welcome a hot meal.

“We now have a network of shelters across the country, so we are reaching out to others "
