Sorry Hampshire, what topic are you referring to?

(I generally look at the content of the post, rather than the handle of the person who made the post).

That said, my post has just been like by Dave, who I called out - by name - for his use of the word Presser.

I'm a disgrace.

After having more criticism about a topic i put on here i have decided not to start anymore. There are a few on here who dont start topics but have a great deal of pleasure in making comments about people who have an opinion. Without an opinion there is no forum. coyr

You started a topic about taking the knee and Tom pointed out there's a 47 page topic on it already. Maybe have a read through the forums before posting new stuff ?

Do they still make Topics? Not seen one in years . What about Boosts? You’d be still eating them out of your teeth for several days after initial consumption

Don't recall seeing Topics for a long time but sure they had packs of Boost's in the Cadbury shop in Clarks Village.Used to love the Fuse bars too.

You can still get a Topic. And they are still absolutely lovely.

Amazon will sell you anything between 3 and 40 of them at a time (forty for under thirty quid).

But they are tax dodgers.

Or, if you are more of a purist, then get involved with Hancocks.

Which, for the curious amongst you will be amazed at the prices.

But of course, if you are doing a diabetes shop, why stop at the Topic.

We all know that when it comes to Fruit Pastels there are only two what boss it.

And if the other half gets the hump about these ridiculous purchases, calm them down with a packet of Lovehearts.

(Pretty sure that's Christmas covered!)

I can confirm that Topic's are still in existence, and that I ate one quite recently. Whilst the taste and texture was no different to what I expected I must confess that it was somewhat smaller than I recalled. However I'm not sure if this was as a result of it being part of a multipack (which seem to be quite prevalent these days, and a bit of a "swizz" in my opinion), or whether it was due to the fact that I was significantly younger when I last ate one. So much so that my hands would have been smaller, and hence the bar appeared bigger.

Hope this helps...?

And people were suggesting my bulk buy was folly.

What's a paper shop ?

A paper shop is where they used to sell proper sized chocolate bars, not the chocolate finger sized excuses you get these days.

Topics were always small when compared with other chocolate bars. In a funny kind of way that actually made them more appealing to me. You knew you were getting a superior bar and the price point elevated them to luxury status.

All chocolate bars have shrunk these days and the Topic is no exception, so much so that I'd categorise them as "snack size" which is half way between "fun size" and full size.

If I ever decide to buy one again, I'll likely buy two so as to ensure I'm not left wanting more. In fact thinking about it, Topics might be my favourite chocolate bar. Yeah, I think they are.
