Jeez
There were posters on here desperate for MM to get the job here & kept quoting what he did years ago with Wolves & Eire - they had no capacity to consider otherwise. I couldn't think of anything worse & glad we didn't go near him.

Plus Vaulks and Pack in the middle of the park, who are not exactly attacking players. No wonder the fans are going mad. I saw that, and I also noticed that Perry Ng was on the bench, which I found surprising as I always rated him and was slightly disappointed when he left Crewe for Cardiff as I quite fancied him here. As it turns out, we seem to have made a better choice by signing George Tanner.

Mr Popodopolous
I did wonder how they would cope when the Parachute Payments ran out- did wonder if them hiring Mick in January was a bit of an all in bet for promotion that season basically. They've lost Ojo and Wilson ie the loanees from Liverpool, plus Glatzel gone and Murphy loaned out- it all stacks up, expect he'll keep them up but don't see them really troubling the top 6. They've had to join the bulk of the division in who they can attract, how much they can spend etc. Edited September 29, 2021 by Mr Popodopolous
richyy66
Still they always have Lee Tomlin to make his customary 5 games this season.

One of the major hoof ball dinosaurs they haven’t tried, and he’s almost a local boy (though not sure how Newport and Cardiff folks get along!) Have you ever been to Newport? They don’t even get on with themselves do they?

cidercity1987
They absolutely battered Reading 25 shots to 2. That is the sign of a team about to go 10 unbeaten if they stick with him imo

mozo
Not a great season for the old guard. Hughton sacked, Mccarthy on the verge and Warnock's Boro going backwards. Young Nige doing fine though.
