Jerseybean
Overall a poor performance from us and a disappointment to see aspects of last season reappearing (e.g. going backwards/sideways, not creating and giving the ball away softly) our forward play was especially poor, we failed to create a single decent chance. Beat ourselves in the end due sloppiness when we had the ball. NP will have learnt lots. Worrying to see Bakes, Dasilva and Williams all depart with injuries. Given the ref let so much go I was surprised that he awarded a penalty. Quote Link to comment
Curr Avon
Frustrating as hell. Great for first 20 minutes of second half, then we completely lost our way after the pen. 1 Quote Link to comment

JamesBCFC
Bakinson is still pretty young and we've seen when he's on form he's very good at this level. Inconsistencies and poor runs of for are to be expected at times. 1 Quote Link to comment
WolfOfWestStreet
O'Dowda is an absolute imposter. If he never pulled on that red shirt again I'd be absolutely delighted. 11 Quote Link to comment
dREDful
What have I done to deserve watching Chris Martin every match?! Quote Link to comment
Malago
The highlight for me was Chris Martin, clean through on goal, doing a more than decent impression of the Harry Brown, the old sand dredger that use to chug up and down the Docks. We got a point on Saturday. Tonight we didn't. A bit of a rubbish result and a bit of a rubbish performance but it doesn't mean it's all down the drain. It just means we need to do better at Posh. 2 Quote Link to comment

Without the pen I can't see them scoring and we've had a few decent chances. Striker rotation needed, bakinson needs to learn from this. Onwards and upwards Genuine question - who had these chances? 1 Quote Link to comment
RedRock
Wow. A team of two halves. One half a group of fighters who gave 110%. The other trotting around doing **** all. I suppose that’s progress from last season though. 1 Quote Link to comment

ohhhshauntaylor
Lots of positives to take from that IMO- We look far better than last season Williams looks just what we need Tanner getting better every game Bakinson surely won’t start again COD once again proved his shouldn’t be anywhere near the squad 8 Quote Link to comment

Let's hope we're not forced to play that finishing eleven again this season. I thought we were actually decent for the first 20 mins of the second half & showed what a poor team they are. The injuries & subs have had a big impact tonight because in any other game Bakinson would have been hooked & O'Dowda not on the pitch at all. Awful last 20 mins & completely punchless up front all game.. Edited September 29, 2021 by Cardy 2 Quote Link to comment
bexhill reds
The 2nd half post-subs was very reminiscent of last season…..I’d forgotten how bad we were. Wells to start next game if fit (or not playing up), Bakinson to take some time and decide whether he wants to work for his money rather than steal a living as a professional footballer. Lost all cohesiveness after the subs, hope Williams is just a fitness thing, was great tonight. Quote Link to comment
Out of his pie crust
Same old story vs milwall. Go into the game on a reasonably good run and lose. Quote Link to comment

Gazred
Hate losing to sides like that but it was only an average performance in patches. It had draw written all over it at best. Thought the pen was soft but maybe something to learn for Atkinson who i thought was possibly man of the match for us. Quote Link to comment

Rossi the Robin
Can still see green shoots as most of the players putting big shifts in The 2 subs were detrimental, pring for baker worked for us. Lack a striker with pace Millwall were there for the taking 2 Quote Link to comment

robin_unreliant
Both Weiman and Martin were put through on goal and neither of them actually got a shot in. Sums up our strikeforce for me. Nige said it will take time and until we get some quality in up front we'll carry on being frustrating to watch. 1 Quote Link to comment

AppyDAZE
I'm a fan of James, but his crossing and set pieces are shite. These things happen. Not to get too down about it. ray savino
Hope Semenyo, Massengo and Williams all fit soon. We need energy and pace. Shame Conway injured, yes he’s raw but his energy would have offered so much more than anything else up front. Front players need service but the movement was statue like at times. Christ Britton is not fit enough but surely he could do half an hour in a game when Martin is dead on his feet? We were in no real danger against a poor Millwall side, but it was like last season after the pen and when Williams went off. We just lost any shape and drive. Lets hope we can get our act together for Peterborough on Saturday! Quote Link to comment
