Popular Post TonyTonyTony
What a game today. MOTM and gave everything. He looked knackered but still kept going. Great crossing and nearly scored with a header and setup the winner with his sheer tenacity. Brilliant performance Edited October 2, 2021 by TonyTonyTony
Numero Uno
At last........some proper bite in the centre of the pitch. Makes a massive difference and allows others without the bite to concentrate on playing instead.

AshtonRobin21
Once upon a time we lacked any aggression within midfield. Now we are blessed with the likes of Williams, James and Massengo. He has looked very good in recent games. Certainly replicating his Wigan form.
Rudolf Hucker
Williams was outstanding. His tenacity to win the ball and set up the winner was great to see. Well done Joe!

Dan Robin
I suggested to replace him in the second half, worried that his continuous runs could cause him another injury....but luckily he had enough energy to keep running and made the assist. Merrick's Marvels
He's a good player. Got everything in his locker. No idea if he can stay fit but, if so, he'll be part of a darn good City team further down the line - spine of Bentley, Kalas, Atkinson, Baker, James & Williams gives us every chance once we have the time and money to re-calibrate the forward positions. Davefevs
All-action….exactly what we need / needed. Think I’d be happy to see him playing the Brownhill-role when Massengo back…links well with Tanner too. Huge bonus he was fit to start, even bigger bonus was to get 90 out of him.

Yep…..Williams came with a big reputation but has only recently been 100% fit to start matches. Hopefully we’ll get to see him against B’muff at AG next game. Another swashbuckling performance like today will be well worth watching live. Cracking header today for his goal. TonyTonyTony
I would love to see him in a three with Massengo and James. What an engine room that would be
The Swan and Cemetery
Massengo, Williams and James look like our best midfield trio, but whilst not winning the most statistically valid sample of the year award, think interesting that King’s 6 starts have delivered 11 points, the 5 he didn’t start, 5 points. A lot to be said for someone unobtrusively keeping things chugging along.

Loosey Boy
Don’t like to put too much pressure on him but……he’s got a bit of Steven Gerrard about him….
Mr Popodopolous
Given in and out with injuries and easing back I have to wonder if he's still fully 100% fit. If he isn't, that certainly bodes well. A CM 3 of him, Massengo and James with King as 1st reserve could be good. Seems versatile as well, started on the right today? Negan
He's going to be our Mr Dependable. Will always get 7/10 every game and chip in with plenty of MOTM throughout the season. He's that missing ingredient we've lacked in the middle for years. Him and James with a creative goalscoring CAM in front of them and we'll be good to go for 2-3 seasons. Henry
I enjoyed that assist just as much as a slick through ball. Pure determination to keep the ball, despite being fouled, and to lay it off. We wouldn’t have got that goal from a lot of the squad last season.
BetterRedthanBlue
If he stays fit he'll be as important to us as Korey was. He's been quality in the appearances so far and ok sure he'll only get better with match fitness etc. I think all credit needs to go to the new medical team and Joe to get him to where he is because something wasn't right last season as he was always injured. Lordofthebling
He was head and shoulders best player ion the park today, and I include Sammy and his two goals in that. A great performance, what a 'signing' he is.
