He nullified the Forest wingbacks which was key to stopping them and he had a significantly weaker squad than usual to pick from. In my opinion we were deservedly one up when we should of had a penalty and following that, Samba has pulled off a terrific save from Wells. Small Margins, if they had gone our way it’s 3 points to City. If so, makes sense….but what we failed to react to is them going 4213 (no wingbacks) when Figueredo came off for Mighten. I know it sounds a bit weird, but we could’ve gone back 4 too, instead of being 352, we could’ve gone 451 / 4231….doubled up on the flanks and sent them into congestion. However we left one on ones wide. It’s not as simple as that though. If you don’t pinch loose balls (which we didn’t all night) then you end up chasing the ball a lot.
