firstdivision
16th and sinking. Lost 3 out of the last 4. Can’t win at home. West Brom and some other tricky fixtures to come before the end of November. I can feel the cold chill of winter on a mild night. Nige will sort it out though…that’s what they tell me anyway. We’re 5 pts off 6th. 7 pts off 22nd. Not exactly ‘sinking’. Just mid table where the vast majority of people thought we would be and where most people would be happy with this season given the context of all that’s gone on. 3

Mr Popodopolous
In and around lower midtable. The home record is obviously a significant concern.

slartibartfast
It's nothing new, back in (I guess) 69 we were well in to December ,home to Bury, I remember the EE singing "All we want for Christmas is our second home win " (and we got it) There's time yet ! And Its Smith
Swansea slowly improving. Imagine the meltdown if we’d appointed Russell Martin
Never to the dark side
A shudder went through me when I thought you meant that this seasons away mid week games involved very long journeys. After so much hard work has been done by so many. Normally Championship sides have five away games and five home games for mid week fixtures This season we have the following mid week AWAY fixtures Reading Millwall Birmingham and the fly in the ointment is Barnsley in March I think we have done quite well on away mid week games short distances To prove the point have a look at Middlesbrough Cardiff and Swansea mid week away games If I could find the individuals to blame I would them a big Gold star Edited October 21, 2021 by Never to the dark side
