Words fail me. Are you completely oblivious to the financial side of the the club? Steve might ask who the **** do you think you are to expect him to keep paying compensation for old Managers and additional wages for new Managers to suit you? Another problem - it's a football cost, we haven't got a pot to ******* piss in and that means EVEN LESS for the new manager you propose to spend Steve's money on (because that's exactly who will be paying for yet another new manager to suit you).

Ooh Steve and his money. Doff cap, tug forelock. Thanks guv. If you haven’t spotted that he’s the problem then you are truly lost.

I'd keep James, Williams, Tanner, Atkinson, Pring, Massengo and Bentley and bin the rest of the older lot off, they aren't progressing or improving us in the slightest.

I'd rather have 11 players like Tanner and be right near the bottom but show fight and willingness to improve and fight in games, if we get outplayed so be it, but this squad is so unbalanced its unbelievable.

Paying 20k a week for players like Wells, Martin, Weimann, Palmer, O'Dowda and even Kalas and Baker just doesn't ring right with me. We could get so much more out of players on a quarter of that.

I’ve had a think and come to the conclusion, missed countless sitters.

What sitters have Weimman, Wells and Martin had today?

Have you actually been watching the game?

We've created nothing of note and didn't manage a shot in the first half.

Hugill alone had enough good chances for 4 or 5 in just the first half.

If you mean Steve himself I've been saying that for years even though it's not the done thing on this board. So not sure what all that doff cap, tug forelock is all about? The point I'm making is that he won't be paying for another managerial change, guarantee it.

And he signed Simpson.

But most importantly thought Simpson could do a job in this league.

Do you think the standard changed significantly while Pearson was out of it (mostly through parachute financing) and he simply under estimated the quality?

I understand it’s not completely his fault, but this is a major red flag for a player he sees regularly in training.

Maybe Steve has tightened the strings so much that he didn’t have much choices apart from signing a 34 year old free agent to add a bit more depth in a very weak area??? Lansdown was happy to spunk money left right & center for his mates, but not with a proper manager…….now that sounds familiar.

But backed himself into a position where he cannot back to the same degree because we will go miles over FFP.

If we had more room to spend we would, we don't so we won't.

Been saying it for a while. Leadership starts at the top. And quite frankly he hasn't got any when it comes to this football club.

Ran out of likes but whenever anyone says what you just did they get ridiculed and told how much sl has had to spend😂

How someone can make a business that started in his bedroom into a billion pound one and fail so miserably with Bristol city is mind blowing .

As the post-match observations begin to appear can we please remember that this season is the first step on a long journey.

We have been totally dominated by Bournemouth and WBA in the last week. To be honest we should have lost both games by a bigger margin. Let us please accept that we are miles away from being a top Championship side. Understandably City fans will be frustrated and angry.

NP made crystal-clear that the job he faced would take time, so we all need to continue to be patient and show our support. Unlike Cardiff we will, thankfully, stand by our manager and he will be given time.

Well played the traveling fans, yet again, making loads of noise despite the result.
