I wonder if BBC West will show Yate v Yeovil on free to air television?

I presume the answer is no

I bet if it was Caerphilly Town against Cwmbran Rangers

Space and the money would have been secured.

At least Yate town will have to put up with a totally biased radio commentary

from the team from Norff Dorset( or is East Devon) on radio channel 722

There were a few whispers around lodge Road last night that if they were successful in winning, the Beeb might look at screening it. It's more of an attractive tie than Dover v Yeovil would have been.

Wouldn't rule it out.

Depends if they can show game Saturday lunchtime I suppose, no game in that time slot atm if they can

Look on the Glover's Official (ish) site, apparently the game will be played in South YORKSHIRE ! Still, I s'pose everything north of  South Petherton is "oop North " !

Yeovil fans will no doubt be singing `You dirty northern bastards` at Yate.

I think they regard Ilminster as being in polar latitudes.

I can remember Yeovil coming up to Worcester City en masse in the very early 80's for what was probably a Gola League game, during my spell at St George's Lane.  They all appeared to be heavily armed with sticks of celery.  Odd lot imo.

As someone that was a YTFC fan for nearly 50 years, I resemble that remark!! ?

They are barking that lot. I went up to Hereford when they played there about tennis years ago and a bloke tried to engage me in a conversation about how much it would take to blow up one of the floodlight pylons with explosives to teach them a lesson as the base wasn’t fenced off!!!!

I also had a steak and kidney pie once at Huish Park. Not complaining but their was no steak in it, just literally a whole kidney with some gravy?

Didn’t realise BBC and ITV were sharing the rights. How very international summer tournament!

Can’t recall that ever happening before for a domestic football competition.

Plymouth fans have to make a 293 mile journey for a 12.30 kick off?
