No one is saying in this thread that he is, just that he’s been out injured a while & when he might be back. I actually don’t think that central defence is our biggest issue, Kalas is excellent, Atkinson has done well overall, Baker is an experienced option & Vyner a useful squad man. Plus Towler is standing out (albeit in non-league) and Cundy looked good last season in League One at least so I think centre-back is the one position I'm pretty relaxed on. Have you seen how many goals we have conceeded in what should be our central defenders "area" by that I mean centre of goal 4 to 18 yards out?
