He didn't look well on Tuesday in the post match interview...

Commented on another thread that he came across as very downbeat on Tues and in his interview with Dave Barton yesterday.

That said, he didn't appear outwardly unwell yesterday so something has either come on very quickly, or he has been suffering with something physical or mental for a while.

Either way, get well soon Nige.

COVID is a weird illness and effects people in different ways, I tried to tough it out and realised after a few days you had to just accept you are ill and rest.

NP is tough as old boots and a fighter, but even he will need to rest up.

Wish him all the best and hope he stays on the bus, we need him.

The wording, and the statement from Gould, is a bit worrying.

I hope it doesn’t pan out like this, but I really wouldn’t be surprised if he did end up resigning.

Get well soon Nigel

It’s possible, he said when he joined how important family and life out of football is to him. He may think (and quite frankly should) that his health is more important.

He may also think we aren’t worth the stress and aggravation.

I recall saying at the time of his appointment we needed him more than he needed us.

In any event like you all I hope he gets well soon.

Surely he’s not going to do a Coppell . . .

Cometh the hour.....cometh the man, perhaps it's time you put yourself forward for the job, Reg

If you got it, I dont mind giving you advice from my new place in the Lansdown, whilst chatting away to Marina.

Tough call but someone has to do it ?

Nige not going with the team to Coventry due to illness.

Curtis Fleming will take charge again.

I wonder whether the effects of his 2 bouts of Covid might still be affecting him.

I could of course be mental rather than physical

Look how Cotts has suffered as well.

Wouldn’t be the first time to be fair .

Can see him leaving the post very soon if I’m honest

Wish him all the best, but echo the worries of other posters that ill health may force him to look at the bigger picture. He did say in a very early interview that he would give it everything if remaining healthy... remember his first bout of covid was very bad, he couldn't walk or get out of bed for weeks.

As some comments above it wouldn't surprise me if he resigned due to health reasons. Pretty sure he said he's chilled out more before he joined us. So may decide the stress isn't worth it.

Whereas our stress levels can't be solved so easily.  We were stressed before he arrived and are still stressed.
