Before the goal, no confidence or any sort of urgency in most of the players. Should have been 3 or 4 down.

We score and suddenly they realise they can play. Some decent players coming through at City, just need to get rid of some who are not up to it in defence and replace our target man!

Actually think Martin has done well this season. Our lack of service and not purchasing a striker have left us light in quality up front. I didn’t expect him to play so many games but overall he’s done well. IMO

Stoke were clearly the better side in first 45, but we played with enthusiasm and brio.  Whatever happens in next 45 we definitely have something to build on.

Well done Nige in trusting the kids.  Sky says Scott our best player and Benarous scores.

Was going to say the same, stoke seem very slow at the back, impressed with scott and odowda,. Bakinson was way off the pace but pearson spoke to him and he looked a different player.

Indeed, I know he played for loads of Midlands sides, that's why I thought he could have played for the Potters at some point.

Good start to the 2nd half. Ensuring there's no rhythm to Stoke's play and had a couple of dangerous attacks ourselves. It's now been a 50/50 game on balance... ish...

I seem to remember Goodman him having a right battle (fight) with Andy Llewellyn at the Hawthornes in the early 90s. Fiesty bugger was Goodman
