SydneyCity
One of the beautiful things about football is that anyone, anywhere in the world - regardless of money - could play an almost identical game. The more technology like this that enters the game, the bigger the gap grows between the elites and grass roots IMO.
Lrrr
It essentially sounds like goal like tech, just then pinged to the VAR official to verify the decision.
steveybadger
If it speeds up VAR offsides where’s the problem? Still getting the correct decision, just less delay. And elite football has always been different to grassroots,

Midred
With VAR you just want consistency. Everytime there's a free kick or a corner what goes off in the penalty area is chaos. Why can refs and asst refs ignore so much of it when it suits them?

I think its difficult to speculate on players in the middle of a pandemic, especially when the virus apparently long term effects. Going back to VAR, I thought it wasn't being used in the FA cup, but obviously Manure get a different set of rules.
