Wtf are you on about?

Anybody can choose to ignore the advice, but it’s just that most people can actually see the reasons for what’s going on and follow advice, even if they aren’t happy about it.

Lucky for you really, because if we all had your attitude, we’d all be ****** and you wouldn’t dtill be going about hour ‘normal’ life!

It’s pretty obvious you’re just anti-establishment and are just going to carry on doing what you want, regardless of the consequences.

Think yourself lucky you live in a country where you can get away with that, but I should ease off the sarcastic comments towards anyone who doesn’t share your views.

They are also following their own consciences and not being led by a ring through their nose by the government like you seem to be inferring.

Oh yea, the advice the people who made them wasn't adhering too.

Good idea!

Kind of fortunate for Harry that the mods deleted his Nazi/Syringe picture last night as that highlighted his true character. (See it's now your avatar. Classy.)

I'm not huge on covid passports. Comparing it to the restrictions that were in place during Nazi Germany is cold. Keeping in mind this government have done the absolute minimum they could get away with at times it doesn't even add up to some great big conspiracy.

The government don't need a pandemic to exercise it's control over us and most of us. See you mentioned the policing bill earlier. Considering your attitude towards it last year that raised a chuckle. Start a petition or something eh.

It was this thread that made you flounce last time let's hope you can hold it together a bit easier this time.

Agreed. .quite shocked to be honest. Very distasteful and rather embarrassing if you ask me.

So, a question to you then.
Why do you think they are putting through the Policing Bill?

This party's tendency is de facto authoritarian. That was the case before the Pandemic.  The Policing Bill was outlined in a green paper well before the virus was even heard of and was presented as a white paper in 2019, beginning its legislative passage which is currently at the Lords.

However, vaccine passes are not just the response to the Pandemic of authoritarian regimes. They are in place in multiple countries.

Yes with your four masks on standing 8 foot away from the person you're chatting too, making sure you are stood by the well ventilated entrance, waving your brand new covid passport around whilst telling everyone how brave you are...ha ha ?.

Not sure why you think someone who is being considerate to others is being any less brave than someone who won’t take a needle in their arm due to a microscopic possibility of side effects but each to their own. For what it’s worth, you come across as someone who is a bit scared yourself.

Lets be honest if you want to take a socialist example the SNP implemented them regardless, Labour in Wales implemented them regardless, we delayed them as long as was sensible.   Work from home will do most of the heavy lifting  in reducing spread and covid passports in packed venues will reduce the spread a little more.   You're something like 60% less likely to transmit the virus if you're vaccinated, and if you're lateral flow testing as well your going to have fairly low transmission rates in the venues the science was done in the summer at a number of test events.

Indeed. In fact, if Plan B is only about the government's friends making money, they'd be telling you to carry on working from the office.

Good for you. I’m happy for you.
There are millions who have been coerced though. If you don’t think so then you presumably don’t want to see it.

Personally I think people should be forced to get vaccinated but that's because I have a slightly autocratic streak, and it bypasses these pointless debates.

A gross insult to the Jewish community and yet more proof of Godwin's Law.

Not just the Jewish Community, either. The Nazis exterminated disabled people too. Huge numbers of disabled people died during the pandemic and @Harrymocks and insults them by turning a vaccine that could have saved their lives into a symbol of a movement that wanted to kill them.

And not only that. Many of the older people at risk from the virus - and many who have died from it - are from the last vestiges of that incredible generation who fought the Nazis with courage the likes of @Harryand the rest of us in our generation can only dream of. Yet Harry chooses to disrespect them by turning a vaccine that has helped save some (and could have saved more if introduced earlier) into a symbol of all they fought against.  What a shameful lack of taste, dignity and respect.

Not but just trying to understand where you are coming from. It’s fine no need to answer - must’ve mixed you up with someone else.  Apologies.

I did indeed state that I would be able to enter the ground if I wished to do so.

On this day in 1979 – The eradication of the smallpox virus is certified, making smallpox the first of only two diseases that have been driven to extinction (rinderpest in 2011 being the other)

Imagine the scenes if this was now

Polio is close to extinction through vaccination too. We vaccinate babies and infants in this country against it, and that has been rolled out in Africa and most of Asia. Most people that contract polio don't even know they have it as won't display symptoms but in some rare instances it can be fatal.

Polio would still be around today in much larger numbers if we listened to some of the "medical experts" on social media.

Who won't take a needle in their arm? I've been vaccinated, but I won't show proof that I have to watch a football match, go to a night club etc. So I don't see your point.

I guarantee 95 percent of the people on here have broken the COVID rules over the 18 months. Yet they come on here preaching. Virtue signallers!

You’re the one who is preaching here. Preaching and speculating about everyone else’s motives. If you chose to quietly not show prove, I might believe you aren’t scared. The fact you need to bleat on about it and try to convince everyone else too reeks of insecurity. You’re anxious, scared and desperate for like minded people to reassure you that you are doing the right thing. That much is obvious to anyone reading your posts

So stop projecting and accusing others of feeling the fear you feel yourself. You fool nobody. I don’t really think you even fool yourself.

The picture is simply a symbolism of fascism. Nothing to do with Jews or disabled people.
The implementation of vaccine mandates are an authoritarian and totalitarian measure and are imposing control on the freedom of individuals.
The depiction of syringes in the shape of the the swastika are a clear representation of how jab mandates are being used in a totalitarian manner.

However; I take your points and appreciate them and will remove it.

You're making yourself look a bit of a d1ck now.

Enjoy logging on to a vpn, watching it on your laptop, whilst telling everyone how victimised you are.

Merry Christmas

I'm just responding to people's comments. Ever so sorry for questioning ignorant people on here.

I won't do it again. Well until the next scandal of which I'm sure won't be long.

It's been fun, bye bye.

Reference claims a day ago that it would take two weeks to get a Covid Pass.

This morning, I downloaded the NHS App, completed all the data it requred and got my Pass within half an hour of starting.

I think the "two weeks" bit is you won't get a passport (under the vaccination branch of the eligibility options) until 2 weeks after your second jab. At some point they will make it the booster jab that counts, no doubt

I'm with @Harry.

I've been double jabbed for ages (after being initially sceptical and having to do a lot of research to find out it's basically a flu vaccine that's customised for COVID - so has been in use for a long time), I wear a mask, clean my hands regularly ect ect - perfect little sheep.

That being said I don't want to have to prove my status for anything just to travel and attend events in our country (I get it if going abroad - there's some quiet nasty stuff out there), to have to prove it to a club that I attend on a regular basis and to what will likely be stewards that we all know form more uninformed opinions than this forum (and quicker as well) - na not doing it.

I will be staying away and watching via NordAirways.

Hate to piss on your bonfire, but it really is not that.

My covid passport is only valid for 2 days. Twice I have tried it. Any ideas why it’s only giving 2 days at a time. Thanks for any information

Click the travel pass, verify your account with the picture it asks you to take. Then should last for 30 days.

Do you mind me asking where your registered with your GP?

In Wales it only seems to give a 48 hour covid pass. Could be why?

Hi, how do you get a hard copy? I've tried to find one online but can only find a digital QR code. Thanks in advance.

I’m in wales too and have a 30 day pass. Do as above.

A simple lateral flow test... No need for any vaccinations

For now.  Then they will follow the lead of other countries and make people pay for the tests, and make it so impractical such as having to register a test days before going to a shop.
