Listening to Nige during the week I doubt if any of his players would dare to catch it!

All it takes is one person at a club. I don't think it's a lack of discipline you can pick this up anywhere.

Thanks. I’m only getting two days off from work. One of those days is going to be spent preparing and cooking Christmas dinner for my family. The other is for me, going to Luton away before I’m back at work the next day at 5am. If it’s cancelled and then rearranged then a night game is going to cause me problems with my early start times. So from a selfish point of view I hope it does go ahead.

That sounds like hard work - preparing Christmas dinner, watching City and a 5 am start. Any way you could sub contract a bit of the Christmas food preparation by using threats - eg no Father Christmas unless you peel a sprout?

Ha ha unfortunately they are adults so that won’t work (might not work ! ). I’m sure they will offer, but knowing me I’ll do the lot as sometimes that’s easier, too many cooks and all that.

I might let them do the washing up though (load the dishwasher )
