Football is a religion in the N East. Had a massive Sunderland fan stay with us for a year.
He went back for every home game, even during the mid week home games. Drove back through the night, then went to work for 8am next morning. Used to stay up talking about football with him till the early hours regularly.
Come on you Black Cats!

Yep, massive club are Sunderland.

Despite the crap you read on social media LJ is currently very popular on Wearside. Doing a good job, but of course ultimately needs to deliver promotion.

Agreed, easy to understand why Bristol is a bit of a backwater for many footballers looking for a club. Nice city, but not a football hotbed compared to some parts of the country.

Just now, Gillies Downs Leeds said:

What letting opposition team get to their byline numerous times. Yes they look going forward but they are so easy to get at behind their full backs.

Yep, they would rip us to shreds with their movement and passing, simply a different level to us at the moment, this maybe a one off performance though.

Might be easy for £72m Pepe, probably not so much for Callum O'Dowda.

They aren't playing full backs anyway btw - they're playing a back three with wing-backs.

Good to see Patino get a game and a goal.
I managed to watch him for the u21’s against Swindon earlier this season in the EFL trophy. Was head and shoulders above all the other Arsenal u21’s, was clear he was was gonna be the next one to be given a chance.
