TBW
Again. vs. Blackpool equalise in 90'+3 minute (1-1) vs. Forest Green equalise in 90'+6 minute (2-2) vs. Luton equalise in 90'+1 minute (1-1) vs. Bournemouth second in 45'+1 minute (0-2) vs. Notts Forest equalise in 90'+1 minute (1-1) vs. Notts Forest winner in 90'+2 minute (1-2) vs. Coventry winner in 90'+2 minute (2-3) vs. QPR equalise in 45'+3 minute (1-1) vs. QPR winner in 90'+3 minute (1-2) Why can't we hold out when it gets into injury time other than the fact we're just shit? The above goals alone have cost us 11 points and knocked us out of a cup. Edited December 30, 2021 by TBW

cityexile
In fairness, we have got four of those back v Hull and QPR. Usually it’s been when we have been hanging on. Thought that was not really the case today.

Spike
I honestly wonder if it's the physical side of the game, today we deserved a win easily, by far the better team but when it comes to injury time we don't seem able to hold the ball up in the oppositions half. I can understand we have some lightweight players but Semenyo is a big lad, why isn't he able to switch to the wing position for injury time, get him the ball and have him hold it up. You see it all the time with other teams, they get the ball, they push up and they hold it, we just seem to wilt.

marmite
Most of those games we were hanging on and playing poorly . We are now playing better and someone soon is going to get a real pasting from us. Lets look for the positives.

Semenyo had enough left to get his goal, but i do think we were less able to close down their side CBs. Likewise, Kalas and Pring started no,bing as their forwards tired too. 41 minutes ago, RUSSEL85 said: Joint 5th without those late goals. Minus 3 for the 2pts gained at QPR and 1pt at Hull. Alex_BCFC
Thing is that even if we could hang on, we wouldn’t be top 6. We’d have thrown it away elsewhere because for 90% of this season we’ve looked poor.

sh1t_ref_again
Can see why so many in the Dolman always use to leave 5 minutes before the end, the results are so much better

Mr Popodopolous
Two v Blackburn gained, as well as the aforementioned at QPR and Hull- that's 5 points for... Unsure how many- if any- we have scored in first half injury time.

Sir Geoff
Perhaps we need to improve our sh**housery and use of the 'dark arts' in the last few minutes to see games out. We are still too nice when it matters most.

We need a couple of players who don`t give opponents an easy ride - TBF, George Tanner looks like he might be one though.

We did the right thing in taking short free kicks and throw-ins in the corner, Pring headed there on the counter…but ultimately on the last occasion let them get out too easily. If it was me, I'd have used the towel to wipe down the ball to kill a few more seconds, whether we planned a long throw-in or not. Didn't attend yesterdays game so can't comment on the goal, Dave. I was at Heathrow waiting for my suitcase and getting updates on OTIB matchday thread. I meant in general though when we are holding a lead going into the last 5 minutes or so.
