Lanterne Rouge
Baggies don`t get a pen in the last minute for Pack pulling one of theirs down and the ref blows for full time. Cue everyone on the pitch, loads of handbags and Johnstone for Baggies and Flint for Cardiff sent off after the match had finished. Hilarious!

Foul & abusive language so probably just a 1 match I should think. No idea for sure though.

Dissent in normally 2, and a second yellow or professional foul normally one, so all depends what it is for.

On the evidence of the game over there I’m hoping he isn’t suspended. 7

These are guidelines which can be flexed given the circumstances, but certainly not a second yellow or professional foul. 2 games seems most likely I imagine, we are due to meet them in three games…assuming they are all played.
Bazooka Joe
Nothing more than just a bit of handbags (handbaggies in West Brom's case) at ten paces ( or two metres apart because of Covid).

Ska Junkie
How is that 'challenge' by Marlon not a penalty?? Secondly, in the Chelsea game, how is Mane still on the pitch after that elbow? Thirdly, why wasn't Towler shown a red today? Looked clean through to me. Good for us but debatable just the same. I used to understand the game. Edited January 2, 2022 by Ska Junkie

The last revision of Last Man I know of says it's only automatically red if he's not attempting to play the ball. 1

TonyTonyTony
Standard of refereeing in the Championship is poor. An absolute blatant penalty. It really needs looking at as some games are won/lost by the man in black.

I used to understand the game. Towler’s challenge was a genuine attempt to get the ball. Under the laws of the game a yellow card and penalty is 100 % the correct call by the referee. 2
