EFL having a laugh! Following the revelations that we have had the fewest penalties award than any other club in Europe it looks the record is set to continue. Still can’t understand how the challenge on Scott against QPR wasn’t a penalty. I showed the video clip to a Fulham fan friend of mine who was also speechless ? in fact he described it as GBH and felt the challenge should have been a ted card. No doubt Pearson will find it difficult not to say anything

Its official the EFL hate us, how the hell could they appoint Davies for another of one our matches so soon

But of course he wasn’t originally scheduled for the QPR match, so this is probably the game he was down to referee when the programme was arranged at the start of the season.

Maybe the City media team could put together their own review of the many questionable decisions and release that - through some unofficial sources of course so that the club don’t get into further trouble - and get that doing the rounds on social media for the EFL to respond to.

Although I’m sure they will just keep their head in the sand and continue to ignore and not give us anything

The EFL have confirmed Andy Davies will not referee Bristol City's trip to Luton next Tuesday.

On the same day Nigel Pearson was fined £5000 for comments made against the official, the EFL announced Davies would once again be the man in the middle less than a month after his hugely controversial performance in the defeat at home to QPR.

Manager Pearson was left seething following the 2-1 loss on December 30 and was later charged by the FA for his comments in which he suggested Davies should be refereeing in the park.

But Bristol Live understands Davies has been removed from the fixture as rules claim a referee cannot be appointed to the same team within four weeks unless it's absolutely necessary.

Good news!

Couldn’t see how he could take this game, whatever he did would be open to interpretation.

Any contentious decisions for Luton could only be viewed in the context of the QPR game & in the admittedly unlikely prospect that he gave us a dubious decision, he would be seen as trying to even it out.

Probably get Keith Stroud now & it is an indication of how much of a ? this bloke is, even that would be a massive improvement.
