Jerseybean
Immediate thoughts following a 6-2 defeat. Fulham are the real deal. At times today we were given a footballing lesson. Despite being well beaten (relieved actually they only got six at half time I feared worse) by a very accomplished Fulham team I thought we played with much more energy and creativity than has often been the case this season and scored two superb goals. Despite being outplayed we showed character and self-belief, even when the final outcome was not in any doubt e.g. the entire second half. Thought both of our AS’s did well (Scott and Semenyo) and our fans were again first class. I’m left wondering why Kalas wasn’t given the job of man-marking Mitrovic. Good day for Fulham with Bournemouth and WBA losing. In other news Derby County are off the bottom! 6 Quote Link to comment

Hard to say so after such a shellacking, but think the score is slightly generous to them. First two goals arguably has a push, and thought we should have had a penalty at 2-3. Equally, I am sure they took their foot off the pedal a bit in the second half. PP are a factor of course, but to squeeze something out we have to defend much better than we did. That made is much easier for them. Quote Link to comment
sh1t_ref_again
On a positive spin we only lost by 4 away whereas Reading lost by 7 at home. Quote Link to comment
old_eastender
FT 6-2. Still some enjoyable stuff and rather we try and play football with some pace, rather than hoofing it to slow coach Martin. For me we should have had a 3rd in central midfield in hindsight, and Atkinson instead of Vyner. Who knows if we got the Penalty at 3-2, we could have been level at 3-3, instead 60 seconds later it's 4-2. Quote Link to comment
Curr Avon
No fans phone in on RB tonight due to the rugby. And I was going to be nice too. Never mind. In short, well done to the fans, you were superb. Congratulations to Semenyo on 2 fantastic goals. Lets sort out those defensive frailties, please, 2 Quote Link to comment
Northern Red
Considering the half time score, 6-2 seems almost respectable... Put it behind us and move on. 11 Quote Link to comment

Mostly because that is the reason. We are a well run club that made a £36m loss, Fulham, Bournemouth and West Brom will get more than that as ungenerated income. There is no way that Fulham to keep hold of Mitrovic without that cash. Quote Link to comment
joe jordans teeth
it’s all opinions of course @GrahamC but if you think that Mic is better than let’s say a Chris Wood then I honestly think you are wrong Quote Link to comment

Agreed, fed up with Vyner facing the goal and losing another header. They just had too much movement and pulled people left right and centre. Mitrovic is a clever player.. Quote Link to comment
