Their 5 league games prior to the Reading 7-0 were 0-1, 1-1, 1-1, 1-1 and 0-0 (plus the 1-0 (aet) in the Cup game with us).

Admittedly, I think it is more the case that those 5 games before Reading are the anomaly...I mean Fulham are only 11 goals behind the highest goals scored last season (Brentford's 79) with 20 (and a bit) games remaining. If they carry on at 2.67 per game they'll get another 50ish goals and end on something like 120 scored. Mad.

Fair point. Probably also fair to point out that Reading (A), Bristol City (H), Birmingham (H) is one of the "nicer" trios of fixtures you'll get this season.

Conversely, it's worth noting that our 1-0 in the cup was essentially against Fulham's "2nd team".

As you say, some of their numbers are a bit silly though. Certainly makes one question whether parachute payments are giving a bit too much of an advantage.

Seeing the same clubs yo-yo up and down every season is boring, quite frankly. How can FFP be fair when teams like Fulham and West Brom are being given massive handouts every other year?

Watford & Norwich complete the set.

It is becoming a farce, Fulham spent more money this summer on players than the rest of the Championship combined & already had Mitrovic, so it isn’t much of an achievement, in truth.

Next season they will be like Watford (who beat us 6-0), trying to scrape draws against the bottom 5 clubs in an attempt not to get relegated again.
