Counter attacking style starting to be the identity

Yep, the difference last season when a goal up it was 11 behind the ball and hang on. Now at least we still retain a threat. Can see what he is trying to do. Second come behind win in a row at home. For once could we just see out a two goal lead easily, for my heart. It’s not like we have been in that position often this season. How many 3-2s, 2-3s have we had now...feels a lot.

Embrace the sweet sweet arms of midtable.

A deserved and really important win: well done, Robins!

Fantastic second half performance, full of desire, moments of quality and chances: their goal came out of nothing, but the team managed quite well the last minutes.

All the team deserves credit, but our strike force was particularly effective.

Watching Flint fall on his arse after being brushed off by Semenyo in the second half is the Champagne Moment of the Season for me

He'll be having nightmares about that . Happy that he won't be going against him again this season. Nice to do the double over them for sure. Worth the 5am wakeup call

If anyone is still in any doubt over what Martin brings to the side then Christ. Give him pace around him and he’s absolutely quality.

Today's opponents suited him today. Put in some good defensive work from set plays as well as two quality finishes. Still think we look much more fluid without him in the side, but NP got it right starting him today.

Starting to look a proper handful going forward. In different ways Semenyo, Martin and Weimann ran them ragged (accepting they’re not AC Milan 1990 at the back). Since start of December 14 goals in 7 league games is a long way from last season, where we seemed to struggle to get into the opponent’s half.

Massengo and Scott great in lots of ways, but think we need one experienced head in there, if we can get them out of the treatment room. That said, pleased Williams wasn’t needed, a bit more recovery useful.

O’Dowda did lots of things well, but his final ball is almost bizarrely poor at times. Thought Jay did okay right side.

Whether it’s Klose or someone else, need some more organisation/experience in defence - our defending of set plays was better this week with Martin back in, but from open play we look poor at dealing with crosses. However, very happy to take 14 points off relegation and 9 off the playoffs.

Did not see the game but nice for Martin to score two and our topscorer one. Semenyo hit the post I heard. Hope the new defender can give our defence strenght. Vyner is not the man who should play CB. Points important and give us space from relegation. We have lots of players that can score, the trick is now to get the defence tight. Slowly slowly we make progress and think NP are leading our team in right direction. COYR

Quite surprised that Semenyo is getting raves. How he failed to score in that match I’ll never know. Did pose a constant threat though.

Were the 2 assists not enough?

The constant threat?

The pace to beat all the defence to the first chance that hit the post?

The strength to create the chance for the second that hit the post?

Still quite surprised people can’t see the player Semenyo is turning into.

If he continues this rise, he won’t be here much longer.

Well we were unlucky not to win more comfortably in the end! But doing the double over Cardiff is always good enough for me ?

Glad I don’t have to make the call on MoM today, Semenyo was a beast, Massengo a menace (mistake aside), Martin with a stellar performance and a fantastic brace and our talisman Andi with the winner. Special mention for Pring too. COYRRRR!!!!!!

Don’t think anyone has been in doubt. On his day he is a good player at this level but he cannot be flogged week in week out. A tired fatigued Chris Martin is horrendous and painful to watch.

Credit to Nige for bringing him back into the team in a game that suited him. Use him sparingly and he is a great asset.
