SimonL
Gone are the days of a goalkeeper dominating their box. Crap modern coaching. Edited January 25, 2022 by SimonL Spelling 2 Quote Link to comment

nickolas
Yet another game where we look comfortable defensively but cant keep a clean sheet. Bentley back in goal please. Max still learning, but much more to learn until he can be relied upon. 1 Quote Link to comment

Better Red
Played so well as well. We were controlling the game and passing the ball well. Every goal we concede at the moment seems is a header in the six yard box and Max is no where any of them can’t tell me he is better than Bentley. Quote Link to comment
Denbury Red
For all our possession the players up top aren’t looking positive enough. The final ball is either too slow or just hoofed across to an area where they can easily defend. Massengo has had a few shooting opportunities and just needs to be confident! Quote Link to comment
Super
For all our good play we've created nothing. 1 Quote Link to comment
frenchred
Never ever rated o leary and he's emphasising my feelings tonight. Just not big or good enough 2 1 Quote Link to comment

Bentley is literally just as guilty of sticking to his line and not attacking the ball - its literally what I'd be most critical of him on. Max needed to do better more with regards to it being near straight at him. I'm not sure he can try claiming it through the crowd with it being in-swinging. The big question is who on earth was marking him; nobody. 4 Quote Link to comment

Jerseybean
An excellent half from us. Haven’t seen us play so well for 45 minutes in a long time, we have played all the football, made good decisions, kept the ball well, won most 50/50 challenges and limited them to next to nothing. Of course we all know how so often it goes - if you don’t score when you are on top you get punished - which is exactly what’s happened. We are behind very much against the run of play. 6 1 Quote Link to comment

Alessandro
I wanted to write more detail at HT, but that goal is absolutely gutting. MOL in no-man's land and again, City undone by a cross in weak fashion. A real sucker-punch because wow, at times, that was up there with some of the better football i've seen from City for many few years there IMO (without, albeit, creating enough chances though) Expect a bit more Luton second half and hopefully Semenyo can catch them on the break. 1 Quote Link to comment

Yeah Scott and Dasilva trying to pick up their big man and neither got close. Max not great but, personally, I think that want as easy a take as some are suggesting. 2 Quote Link to comment
AppyDAZE
Like many, I had the feeling that was coming. The truest saying in football, that you have to get in front when you're on top. Not over though. COYR and stuff this back down ol' Saghead's throat. Fingers crossed Zak can continue. Quote Link to comment
Banjo Red
Had to be that knobber who scored. Quote Link to comment
RedRock
Think that was Scott’s man. However, bright and intelligent football. Just lacking that quality in the final third. Nice to see a bit of bite in midfield with the youngsters, with nice control, fast forward passing. Most unlike City. Quote Link to comment
ProfitInMyPocket
Can we have one week without scapegoating someone? We've played well but haven't tested their keeper enough. It'll come, COYR. 4 Quote Link to comment
chinapig
Should have kept Niki Maenpaa. Much more reliable with crosses. 7 Quote Link to comment
Fordy62
Decided to pay for robins tv. Enjoyed the half. Hard luck to go in one down. If we play like this there’s no way we’ll be in a relegation scrap. These good performances are becoming much more regular. 10 Quote Link to comment

Intent is there and a fair bit of quality to get to final third, but so far tonight final ball missing. 7 Quote Link to comment

Our final ball has been pretty poor, and again we are undone by any cross in to our box. There was a lot that was genuinely encouraging, but still the weaknesses are apparent. 1 Quote Link to comment
TomThumb84
Played well here. Luton look very poor. Channel, channel, second ball. Nathan Jones’ screeching and extraordinary repertoire of expletive-laden Sunday morning coaching is an eye-opener. Quote Link to comment
Dan Robin
Dominant first half, except for the last minutes, so being one down hurts. More accuracy and luck needed if we want to gain a point there. Quote Link to comment
